1. Scope
This policy applies to the OwnStems iPhone app and these public support pages. OwnStems is intended only for music you created or fully control.
2. Information we collect
OwnStems does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, device identifiers, location, usage analytics, advertising data, or the audio you process. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
3. Files you choose
You choose a stereo WAV, AIFF, MP3, or M4A file through Apple’s Files interface. OwnStems uses it only to perform the separation you request, let you compare the result, and prepare an export. Files may be up to 10 minutes long.
4. Local processing
Neural separation runs locally on your iPhone. OwnStems never uploads your source audio or generated instrumental to us or to a processing service. Your audio is not used to train a model.
5. Storage and deletion
The app creates a private working copy and processing files while a project is active. Those files are removed when you cancel, start over, or an operation fails. If a session is interrupted, OwnStems removes orphaned projects the next time the app launches. Deleting the app also removes its private app storage from the iPhone.
6. Exports
OwnStems exports only after you use the system share or save interface. The copy goes to the location or recipient you choose. Its handling then depends on that destination.
7. Purchases and third-party components
Apple handles App Store purchases under your Apple Account. OwnStems does not receive payment card details. The app includes credited neural-separation and runtime components that execute locally and do not send your audio to their developers. See Credits.
8. Rights confirmation
Before importing, you confirm the file is your original music or that you control every right and permission needed to process it. That confirmation remains in the app and is not sent to us.
9. Website delivery
These pages do not add accounts, cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics. GitHub Pages infrastructure may process routine request information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the website.
10. Changes and contact
If OwnStems changes in a way that affects privacy, this page and its effective date will be updated. Questions can be sent to radwalls@gmail.com.
